I stopped by Saet Byul Asian Market for the first time and found all the condiments and items I needed to create a Korean dish at home. The owner was friendly and helpful. She had just brought out some freshly made Bibimbap. I purchased a set to bring back and loved the simplicity of it. The fresh and crunchy veggies inside were a delight. Saet Byul Asian Market is located behind Joe’s Sushi on Van Buren and Magnolia, near Sonic. They have a variety of ready-made banchan dishes and even sliced meats. They also have a variety of seaweed and ramen noodles. Overall, I found what I needed - plus a few more items. I know I’ll be back again. I’m happy that my coworker told me about this place and that I won’t have to drive all the way to Irvine’s H Mart for ingredients.

I had only been here a small handful of times before this month. I live across town so it was always a pain to drive over. My sister in law came here for some ingredients while she was in town a few weeks ago and bought their bulgogi meat and some cucumber kimchi. When I say I became obsessed with their kimchi, I mean it. Their cucumber kimchi is my absolute favorite! I now am finding any reason to come here for it and a few other items. The staff is always so friendly and the store is so well organized. I love it.
